Uhhhhh..... We stayed in this hotel because our flight got in late and we needed a place close to the airport to crash for one night. This hotel fits that purpose well. That said, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for any other situation other than the one I just described. They were pumping sewage right outside of our door the morning we woke up. Also, our room key didn't work the morning we were checking out. The only other positive of this hotel is that it is within walking distance of THE BEST little food place we came across on our whole trip: Joe's Grill Express. We cannot wait to come back so we can visit Joe's again.

This's my first time booking through ”trip” app. I glad i did. Our room is corner views where we got both the view from diamond head and oceanfront. This's the best experience i have. We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night around 7pm Hawaii time. Didn't expect they were doing fireworks around 8pm. I got to see it right from my window view. Omg.....i was breaking in tears where i haven't experience of fireworks this close before. I wish they allow video reviews in here where i can share my recording of the fireworks to you all. My daily views from my room are the best everyday and night throughout our stay. We walked around the beaches, restaurants and stores around the hotel area everynight before bed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome experience and memories. Love it so much and totally recommend.

We have booked Hampton Inns across the US for over two decades because of the consistent delivery on the core amenities that make for a family friendly hotel. We stayed two nights at this hotel and my score here is based on the second night. Our first night was a horror show that resulted in a comped night. I'll include that information at the bottom but don't think (or at least I hope it doesn't) reflect the hotel in general. Overall - this is a hotel that is trading on a name and the sky high hotel prices on hawaii without providing the appropriate quality of service, amenities or upkeep to deserve your business. Pros: 1) The hotel is located in a shopping plaza in Kapolei. While this offers plentiful restaurants and shops in the close vicinity this is also a significant con for reasons I will describe below. 2) The King/sofabed room was very reasonably sized with a functional fridge and comfortable beds. 3) Apart from one employee (described below) all other staff were friendly and accommodating. Cons: 1) The room otherwise was not convenient. There were no linens for the sofabed (we had to go down to the front desk to request more), minimal pillows etc. Why offer a sofabed but then make it so difficult to use? The bathroom door was absolutely absurd - It was a slider door on a railing on the outside - which meant that you couldn't lock the door and there was a ~ 2 inch gap between door and frame when closed. Better be close friends with those in the room! 2) The location means that you share parking with everyone in the mall. We had to park quite far away from the hotel which is not great for baggage etc. 3) While the food/beverages were all adequate and frequently refilled there was something VERY wrong with the coffee (stale and sour), waffle mix (sour and pasty) and eggs (tasted like salty toothpaste). The common sourness and pasty nature across the three suggest that something is wrong with the water but I would expect that they are checking before serving customers. My kids would eat just about any flavor waffle (and have happily devoured any and all hotel waffles in their time) but both said these were disgusting. The eggs were grainy and pasty - honestly I have never eaten anything like that. I didn't point out these issues as given the other problems experience with the room and the situation described below - I felt that it may have seemed like 'serial complaining”. I figured that if it was fine for everyone else - leave it be and if others felt the same - they would notify the property. The no good-very bad night. 1) We arrived at the hotel later in the evening after an evening flight and so my tired kids went to bed. I jumped in the shower at about 9:30 and noticed that there was only one temperature of water available - Boiling. I thought maybe switching up the input/output may help so I switched from the faucet to the shower and now only cold water was available. I felt that a fu

I was very disappointed when I got to my crappy old room...it was so hot in my room!! The a/c was barely working!! So I called the front desk to switch rooms... luckily she called me back and said she had another room for me... the new room wasn't really any better!! The a/c was in the back corner and still I couldn't feel the a/c!! I actually had to go to the back corner to feel a little air conditioned. We pay a lot of money to stay there and there rooms barely have working air conditioned!! We were very hot the whole time we were there!! So my friends and I will never stay there again!! And we will not recommend Waikiki heritage hotel to anyone!! Good luck...

I booked a room with two beds. There was no microwave and the fridge was very warm, I would not trust leaving food in there overnight. The room was alright although the hallways smelt like **** and there were stains on the carpet floor. Other then that, I enjoyed the view from the 15 floor. The hotel is also right in the middle of Waikiki and there is a trolley stop right across the street from the hotel. ( if you don’t want to pay a huge price for transportation I suggest the Waikiki trolley $10 non stop rides from Waikiki to Ala moana (pink line)

It is newly decorated in a Japanese style. The fixed seaside view is that the beach is not a full sea view. Most of the Japanese customers also have exclusive services. It is friendly to children. There are children's pools and water play facilities, and there is also an infinity pool with an adult bar. It is great not to disturb each other. There is a Lawson convenience store, an ice cream shop, etc. just below, with complete facilities, it is worth living in!

The service was good ..the front desk staff were very responsive although at times under staffed to met the needs of a quick check-in/Check out. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for renovation during our visit. The room was very good although only cardboard cups and plastic cutlery were provided. When I asked for wine glasses the front desk staff explained that the hotel did not provide them due to the covid pandemic…which did not make any sense to us…and only served to reduce our rating of the hotel. Despite this I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay..and just a 10min walk to Ala Moana Shopping centre and Ala Moana beach.

This hotel is about a 10 min walking distance to the beach. Located in a central area near the Waikiki strip that has a Las Vegas strip feel (busy, crowded). A lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Food is expensive overall in the area. Hotel itself has a restaurant inside. Beautiful lobby area that includes a community microwave and a soda stream machine. They give you a sample of Dole pineapple frozen yogurt at check in. Good customer service, friendly staff. Damien, our valet guy was great! $45 valet parking daily but $30 dollar/day parking option across the street behind Ross. Queen room was cute, colorful but a bit smaller than expected. Carpet and bathroom outdated but has a balcony. No microwave in the room but snacks and kettle for hot water, as well as tea. Big closet for your clothes a plus. TV has cable channels but no premiums. Housekeeping good with bringing towels daily. Can get beach towels from front desk. Pool and sitting area on roof is nice. Overall we had a good experience and the hotel is cute and practical.

I paid the resort fee and deposit with my card when I checked in in the morning, but when I went to the front desk to pick up my room key in the afternoon, I was charged the resort fee and deposit again. Even if I told him that I had paid when I checked in earlier, he insisted that I could pay. It's not for me, it's for my husband. Even though I said it was strange that I had reserved only one room for two people, I was told to pay. I asked someone who could speak Japanese to take over the phone and explain things to me, and they finally gave me the room key, but there was no explanation or apology as to why it happened. I was handed the room key with a defiant attitude. And, as expected, I was charged at the restaurant even though I made a reservation with a plan that included breakfast. If the front desk is that much, well, I thought it would be like that. I'm scared of what I'll be charged next time when I check out tomorrow. Is Marriott a hotel like that? I come to Hawaii every year, but I will never stay at a Marriott again. It's a shame because the location and facilities are fine.
